Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy for exchange or store credit only, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or return for store credit.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package.
Return shipping will be at the customers expense unless item faulty.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please make sure your return has your name and order number clearly identified inside the parcel or we will not be able to process the return.
Please don’t go ordering multiple sizes purely to try on and return the other size.
Posting back and forth needlessly is bad for the environment, please try and order correctly the first time.
Measure your noggin and you shouldn’t need to do that

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If a return is accepted and your original order got free shipping, the return will be the full purchase price minus the shipping cost covered by Plow.
*note. International orders we subsidise the shipping cost in the product price, so if you make an exchange/return we will need to subtract the balance between the shipping charged to you and the actual shipping paid by us.
exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
When we receive your returned item in original condition and you have already made a new order, we will provide a refund of the original order (minus shipping cost) to your original payment method via Shopify.
If you have not made a new order by the time we receive the return item we will provide you with a store credit.

Refunds are only available for faulty product under Australian consumer law, we also offer 1 year warranty on defaults.
If you have requested & been approved for an exchange, the quickest way is to make a new order, in this case we will provide a refund to your original order once we receive it back in original condition and providing you have already made an order for a replacement hat/product of equal or more value.
final sale
No returns or exchanges will be accepted on 'final sale' items unless faulty.

Thank you for understanding we are small business and refunds really hurt us!
It has been a difficult decision to remove refunds for change of mind from our policy, but I honestly don't have the time to manage returns/exchanges at the best of times..
I am sooo happy to help you with choosing the correct size, or sorting out exchanges, but when people return because the hat is simply "not suitable", I can't find it within me to have patience for that!
So it's exchanges or store credits only now sozzz
I'm saying this because these hats are GOOD and 99.9% of the time customers are happy but just needed a bit more guidance with sizing etc.
Plus plow hats make the perfect gift, so if it's not suitable for you to keep then there is always someone it'll make a great gift for!!
